Chairman Message

Dear Professional Colleagues,

It is immense pleasure to meet all the members and students through this communication. I hope all the members have enjoyed the summer season with family and friends. As all of us know, the schools are going to be reopened and the season of income tax filing is going to start. All the utilities for the income tax forms have been released by the income tax department and various changes have been carried out in the forms to capture the detailed information about the income tax and transparency. Annual income statement and Tax information statement are having more information than us. It is highly recommended that we need to exercise due care for the information and statements provided by the clients and arrange for filing the income tax returns in order to safeguard our clients and ourselves. I request all my professional colleagues to plan the work in a systematic manner and complete the return filing on time without taking undue pressure to ourselves.

From this May 2024, CA foundation and intermediate examinations are going to be held on triannual basis in the months of January, May and September of each year. ICAI's objective is to enable the students to pass the examinations at a quicker phase and qualify as the professions at the earliest. I request all the students to keep in mind about the exam schedule and do the exam preparation and wishing all the students to appear the exams with confidence and achieve the highest rewards in all your endeavours.

In the month of May 2024, we at Sivakasi branch have conducted 12 hours workshop on Concurrent Audit of Banks and 3 hors CPE program on Accounting Standards for Non-Corporate Entities. Both the programs are enlightened the members with the speakers insightful wisdom and experience. In the month of June 2024, we are planning to conduct 6 hours CPE program on GST notices and Appeal provisions. I request all the members to extend their support for the programs and enrich the knowledge.

I request all the members to provide their valuable comments and feedbacks on the seminars and other activities of the branch to provide us opportunity to improve.
